Pine Island Acquisition Company (PIAC) is a newly organized blank check company affiliated with Pine Island Capital Partners. PIAC is incorporated in Delaware, formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses, which we refer to throughout this prospectus as our initial business combination. We have not selected any business combination target and we have not, nor has anyone on our behalf, engaged in any substantive discussions, directly or indirectly, with any business target with respect to a potential initial business combination with us. While we may pursue an initial business combination with a company in any sector, we intend to focus our search on defense, government service and aerospace businesses, which complements the expertise of our management team, directors and the Pine Island Capital Partners team.
